<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an optical pickup system which can prevent an intrusion of foreign substances into an optical path, especially the optical path between a photodetector and a lens facing to the photo detector. <P>SOLUTION: Light from a light source 12 is led to a condenser lens 13 by a light guiding means 14, and condensed to an optical recording medium 11 with a condenser lens 13. The light reflected from an optical recording medium 11 is led to the photodetector 30 from a spot adjustment lens 24 facing with the photodetector 30. A tube shape dust-protection body 35 is established between the spot adjustment lens 24 and the photodetectors 30, This dust-protection body 35 covers the optical path 29 ranging from the spot adjustment lens 24 and the photodetector 30 from whole circumference in a peripheral direction. Thereby, the intrusion of the foreign substances such as dust can be prevented in the optical path 29 ranging from the spot adjustment lens 24 and the photodetector 30. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2004,JPO |
