<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To solve the following problem: an individual who takes a photograph cannot sufficiently receive benefit when he or she sends a scoop photograph to a mass media company, and receives a souvenir or a low amount of key money as reward for the scoop photograph. <P>SOLUTION: A digital camera 14 is connected to an access point 13 by radio waves, and also connected to the host computer 11 of an auction sponsor organization via a telephone line 12. A digital photograph is uploaded to the host computer 11 immediately after photographing, and auctioned among the mass media companies. After awarding, the digital photograph is transmitted from the host computer 11 to the general-purpose personal computer 15 of the awarding mass media company.
