FRAME TRANSFER METHOD FOR NETWORK AND FRAME TRANSFER PROGRAM

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a frame method and nodes which considerably reduce the memory quantity required for FDB (filtering data base) of nodes in a network.

SOLUTION: In frame transfer in a network wherein an ethernet (R) frame sent from a transmission source on the network is transferred to a prescribed transmission destination, the inputted ethernet (R) frame is constituted into an extended frame by adding an extension tag including forwarding information to an edge node which is to be the exit side to a host being the transmission destination, and each node on the network relays the data frame on the basis of forwarding information of the added extension tag and transfers it to the edge node on the exit side.
