<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a communication system for dynamically reassigning a value of a transmission band exclusively used by each application on a network depending on a band in use by each application when part of paths on the network becomes not available. <P>SOLUTION: The communication system wherein a transmission band on a path of network existing between a server and clients is assigned to an application provided from the server to the clients, is configured such that the transmission band of the application to which the transmission band has been assigned before occurrence of a fault on a path having no fault when a new transmission band on the path having no fault is newly assigned to the application to which the transmission band has been assigned on a path whose communication is disabled due to the occurrence of the fault. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2004,JPO</p> |
