<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a keyless entry system which can suppress battery consumption further effectively than a conventional keyless entry system. <P>SOLUTION: When wireless key-side processing is started, a vibration sensor 32 determines whether a wireless key 3 is moved or not (S10). When it is determined that the wireless key 3 is moved (S10: YES), processing (S12-S16) is performed, and an unlocking signal is outputted once every three seconds. When it is determined that the wireless key 3 is not moved (S10: NO), the unlocking signal is transmitted once every sixty seconds (S20-S22). Thus, the use of the keyless entry system 1 enables the system 1 to function effectively when the wireless key 3 is moved, and enables the consumption of the electric power of the wireless key 3 to be further effectively suppressed by lengthening a transmission interval between the unlocking signals (S20) when the wireless key 3 is not moved. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2004,JPO</p> |
