AQUEOUS POLYURETHANE RESIN, BINDER FOR PRINTING INK, AND PRINTING INK COMPOSITION

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an aqueous polyurethane resin having flexibility inherent in an aqueous polyurethane resin, and having excellent adherence to plastics, such as polyolefins (e.g. a polyethylene and a polypropylene), nylons and polyesters.

SOLUTION: This aqueous polyurethane resin is obtained by reacting main constituents comprising a 10-40C aliphatic hydrocarbon compound having a hydroxy group and a primary or secondary amino group, a polymeric polyol and a polyisocyanate compound. This binder for a printing ink is made by using the aqueous polyurethane resin. This printing ink composition contains the binder.
