PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a slime remover for a drain port, which is set on an upper portion of the drain port, excellent in safety and handling ease, and spreads a solution of an anti-slime agent from a container containing therein the anti-slime agent of suitable solubility to a drain pipe wall surface. SOLUTION: The slime remover formed of the container containing therein the anti-slime agent such as a clathrate compound comprised of 5-chloro-2-methyl-4-isothiazoline-3-one and a polymolecular host compound, is set on an inlet portion or the upper portion of the drain port. The container has drainage inflow holes and solution outflow holes formed therein. The drainage inflow holes are formed in an upper surface or a side surface upper portion of the container, and the solution outflow holes are formed in a bottom portion or a side surface lower portion of the container, or in a side surface of the container in addition to the bottom portion and the side surface lower portion.
