SURFACE PROTECTION FILM FOR POLYCARBONATE

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a surface protection film for polycarbonates which is easily attached to and peeled off polycarbonates and has a little change with time in peel force and of which the adhesive layer transfers little to the back surface of the base film even when its long roll is stored for a long time or placed in a high-temperature environment. SOLUTION: The surface protection film comprises a base film with a tensile modulus of≥1GPa and a pressure-sensitive adhesive layer. The glass transition temperature of a pressure-sensitive adhesive constituting the pressure-sensitive adhesive layer is in the range of 40-90°C. The initial 180°peel force from polycarbonates is in the range of 10-300mN/25mm. COPYRIGHT: (C)2004,JPO
