VERSATILE CD/DVD TYPE POCKET ASSEMBLY

A dual pocket or envelope (12) for CDs or DVDs is formed of two standard letter size sheets of 8 <1>/2 " x 11" or A-4 size paper, which are bonded together around the edges of the sheets and centrally to divide the sheet assembly into two pockets (26, 28) which are substantially square to hold the discs. One of the sheets (26, 28) is die cut to form the upper edge of the pockets (26, 28), with a closure flap (42, 43) also being formed above each pocket (26, 28). Each closure flap (42, 43) may be held in the closed position by mechanical interlinking with the pocket (26, 28), or by exposed pressure sensitive adhesive, which is enabled and exposed by the removal of a release coated slip of paper from one of the two sheets (26, 28). An index tab (46, 48) may be die cut from said sheets above the open edge of each pocket (26, 28).
