An endoscope information processor comprising a shape analysis unit for detecting the shape of the insertion portion, to be inserted into the body cavity, of an endoscope to analyze the obtained insertion shape, and an information providing unit for providing information about an endoscope operation status according to the analysis results by the shape analysis unit.
