The method involves transmitting information on at least one frequency band with a number of sub-carriers (ST1,..). The sub-carriers of the at least one frequency band of each radio cell are temporarily available for transmitting information. The number of sub-carriers of the at least one band are temporarily allotted to a number of radio cells so that each of the allotted sub-carriers of some of the radio cells is available for transmitting information. Independent claims are also included for the following: (a) a cellular radio communications system; and (b) a controller for a cellular radio communications system.
