PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an air conditioner capable of automatically removing dust attached to a filter surface, and disposing the collected dust to the outdoor. SOLUTION: An air discharging means 8 for discharging a part of the air in an indoor machine casing 2 to the outdoor, is mounted in the indoor machine casing 2, a dust collecting box 5 for collecting the dust attached to the filter 6 is mounted on an air discharge passage of the air discharging means 8, to automatically collect the duct attached to the filter 6, and dispose the collected dust to the outdoor by the air discharging means 8.
