PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a conductive paint exhibiting leveling properties for forming a film coating of uniform thickness when the cathode layer of a capacitor is formed in which the film coating is rigid after curing, high reliability is ensured when a cathode lead frame is bonded, and a high conductivity is exhibited, and to provide a solid electrolytic capacitor exhibiting excellent stability and reliability in the electrical characteristics. SOLUTION: The conductive paint for a solid electrolytic capacitor comprises, as essential ingredients, (A) polyester resin or modified resin, (B) phenol resin or melamine resin as a curing component, (C) a conductive filler, and (D) an organic solvent.
