PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve durability of an intake reed in a sealed type compressor using a hydrocarbon refrigerant. SOLUTION: In the sealed type compressor, an intake valve 121 includes an intake port 118, a valve seat 123 established by surrounding the seat 123 with an annular groove 122 provided on an outer periphery of the port 118, the intake reed 124 for sealing the port 118, and an oil holding space 125 formed on an outer periphery of the seat 123 to communicate with the groove 122 via the reed 124. Thus, the oil is surely supplied to the seat 123 to alleviate an impact of the reed 124 to the seat 123 and to improve the durability of the reed. COPYRIGHT: (C)2004,JPO
