PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a height adjustor for tables which can reduce the adjusting time by minimizing the frequency of rotating the leg posts for the adjustment of the length thereof of the tables. SOLUTION: The height adjustor for tables has inner leg posts 4 which are fastened on the undersurface of the table and each have an internal thread member 6, with an internal thread 6a at the center thereof, at the lower end part thereof, outer leg posts 5 which are fitted onto the respective inner leg posts 4 and each have an upward externally threaded rod 10 screwed down in the internal thread member 6 at the lower end part thereof and casters 2 which are mounted at the lower parts of the respective outer leg posts 5 while being turnable about the axis the same with that of the externally threaded rod 10. Both the external thread rod 10 and the internal thread 6a of the internal thread member 6 are made rough in pitch. The lower end part of the externally threaded rod 10 is mounted on a bearing member 7 fastened at each of the lower ends of the outer leg posts 5 while a fine-pitch caster shaft 2a at the upper part of each caster 2 is screwed down in a fine-pitch lower internal thread part 8 provided at the lower part of the bearing member 7.
