摘要 PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To perform pseudo rearing of a pet robot at a remote location just like directly attending it. SOLUTION: In the pet robot, various sensors for environmental information detection are incorporated. The output signals of the various sensors are substituted by the pseudo signals of the various sensors for the environmental information detection transmitted from an external portable telephone set to the built-in portable telephone set of the pet robot. Also, the operation and conditions of the pet robot by the control of a control processor which has the above signals inputted are confirmed from the images of a camera attached to the pet robot and capable of photographing the image of the pet robot whole body, or by operating a pet robot image displayed on the display device of the external portable telephone by an actuator control signal which is the output of the control processor or the substitutive signal.
