PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a screen door-protecting structure for a pet, which can prevent that the pet reared on the indoor side comes into contact with the screen door attached to the outdoor side to break, open or detach the screen door. SOLUTION: This screen door-protecting structure in which the screen door 4 is disposed on the outside of the sash frame body 1 and two glass doors 2 are further disposed in the sash frame body 1 in a state capable of being opened or closed in the horizontal direction is characterized by attaching a barrier device 5 comprising a metal mesh at a position corresponding to the screen door 4 on the indoor side of a fittings frame 3 built in the sash frame body 1.
