<p>A tapping screw (4) is penetrated from below a through- hole of a pump module installation portion (3), comprising a cushion (31) and an outer yoke (32), and screwed and fixed to an projection portion (22) of an upper bracket (2). The outer diameter of a collar (5) inserted in between the tapping screw (4) and the through-hole is smaller than the inner diameter of the through hole of the cushion (31). The overall length of the collar (5) is longer than the length of the through-hole of the cushion (31). The pump module installation portion (3) is mounted to the projection portion (22) of the upper bracket (2) so as to be movable in an up/down direction. As a result, the fuel pump module can, even in a fuel pump of a type that feeds fuel by the reciprocating motion in the up/down direction of a plunger, prevent vibration in the up/down direction of a fuel pump main body caused by the reciprocating motion of the plunger from being transmitted to the upper bracket through a holding mechanism.</p> |
