<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an ink-jet printer which has a heating means for heating an ultraviolet curing type ink landed on a recording medium, and an ultraviolet ray irradiation means, and has superior abrasion resisting performance and bending resisting performance for images printed under a high humidity environment, and also to provide an inkjet image formation method using the same. <P>SOLUTION: The ink-jet printer for printing by jetting onto the recording medium, the ultraviolet curing type ink of a cationic photopolymerization type from an inkjet head with a plurality of nozzles has the heating means for heating the ultraviolet curing type ink landed on the recording medium, and the ultraviolet ray irradiation means.
