PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To reduce the deflection of sheet materials on the shelves of a cassette device for sheet material storage. SOLUTION: In this cassette device for sheet material storage in which shelves supporting sheet materials 8 are vertically installed in multiple stages, each shelf comprises diagonally extending sheet material support frame parts 3. Since each shelf supports the center parts of the sheet materials 8 by the diagonally extending sheet material support frame parts 3, the deflections of the sheet materials can be reduced.
