MEASURING DEVICE AND MEASURING METHOD FOR COLOR-SELECTION ELECTRODE STRUCTURE FOR COLOR CATHODE-RAY TUBE

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To measure quickly and precisely a shape of color-selection electrode structure to determine a relative position between the color-selection electrode structure for a color cathode-ray tube having a nearly rectangular color-selection electrode element and a front panel. SOLUTION: Fixed supporting means (12, 14) have a pair of supporting points capable of contacting a pair of positions to be measured set adjacent to one pair of diagonal corners of a surface of the color-selection electrode element. Movable supporting means (13, 15) belonging to the same moving plane parallel to a reference plane are formed movably in a normal line direction of the reference plane and have a pair of supporting points capable of contacting a pair of positions to be measured set adjacent to the other pair of diagonal corners of the surface of the color-selection electrode element. Movement driving means (20) drives the movable supporting means in the normal line direction. Measuring means (22) measures an amount of movement (ha) of the movable supporting means.
