CUTTING DEVICE FOR ELECTROSEAMED TUBES

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a very simply configured cutting device for an electroseamed tube which enables a reduction in inertia force during reciprocal traveling of a truck and very smooth reciprocal traveling at a low power cost and further executes cutting work smoothly and surely. SOLUTION: The cutting device for the electroseamed tube P has the truck 3 which can freely reciprocally travel along a traveling rail 2 with a predetermined length in the tube forming direction. The truck 3 is elevatably mounted with a circular cutter 9. The circular cutter 9 cuts the electroseamed tube P while the truck 3 is traveling with its traveling speed synchronized with the tube forming speed. The cutting blade 9 is configured to carry out cutting operation through an elongated spline 13 is opposite to and in parallel with the traveling rail 2 of the truck 3. COPYRIGHT: (C)2004,JPO
