PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To surely feed water by preventing scales from depositing on a water drinking valve used for drinking water by a rat, or the like, and preventing malfunction of the water drinking valve and to feed clean water by preventing slime from forming in retention water. SOLUTION: The subject water feeder is equipped with the water drinking valve for feeding water to an experimental animal such as the rat. A water activator for preventing the scales from depositing on the water drinking valve is mounted in a flow channel communicating with the water drinking valve. The water feeder is provided with a water feeding cylinder 10 for communicating with the valve and feeding water under a prescribed pressure. The water activator 30 is installed in a water feed pipe 12 of the water feeding cylinder 10. COPYRIGHT: (C)2004,JPO
