Redundant arrangement of field devices for automization plant with monitoring of delivery of measuring signal current

The redundant arrangement of field devices has a common 2-wire line (9) for delivery of a measuring signal current (I) from 2 field devices (7,8), e.g. a 4-20mA signal, with monitoring of the measuring signal current delivered from one field device, for correction of the measuring signal current via the other field device upon indication of a fault. An Independent claim for a field device for a redundant arrangement of field devices is also included.
