PURPOSE: Provided is a shovel comprising a grip, a staff and a blade, which has excellent touch feel and durability, and is free from disjointing or loosening of the grip and the staff. CONSTITUTION: The shovel(20) comprises a grip(21), a staff(22) and a blade(23), wherein the grip(21) and the staff(22) are integrally injection-molded from a synthetic resin, and an insertion material(24,25) selected from the group consisting of woods, metals and non-metals is inserted into the synthetic resins. The shovel is manufactured by the method comprising the steps of: introducing an insertion material into a mold having separate filling chambers for a grip and a staff; fixing the insertion material; filling a synthetic resin into the mold to intercalate the insertion material into the synthetic resin; pressurizing the synthetic resin; cooling the synthetic resin to plasticize it; demolding a molded product in which a grip and a staff are integrally formed; and attaching the molded product to a separate blade with bolts to provide a finished shovel.
