<p>The invention relates to a locking device, in particular for a cover of a saddle type vehicle (1), comprising a pair of left and right pivot shafts (29), a pair of left and right locking plates (38) mounted for rotation with said pivot shafts, a pair of left and right strikers (40) for engagement and disengagement with said locking plates, respectively, and a locking member (42) for releasably locking said engagements. The invention aims to simplify the construction of a locking device, in particular for a cover in a saddle type vehicle. Accordingly, it is proposed that said left and right pivot shafts (29) are formed integrally with each other.</p> |
