PURPOSE: A DNA marker for detecting a mating type A2 of Phytophthora infestans is provided, thereby rapidly and accurately detecting the mating type A2 of Phytophthora infestans, so that the infection of the mating type A2 of Phytophthora infestans can be diagnosed at an early stage.
