PURPOSE: A hood hinge system is provided to operate conveniently by fixing the hood without closing the hood in completely opening the hood and automatically closing the hood in slightly lifting up the hood with supporting turn of the hood with simple structure. CONSTITUTION: A hood hinge system comprises a cam plate(3) installed in a hood(1) and protruded along the turning source of the hood for the vehicle body; a guide pin(7) installed in the vehicle body, elastically supported for the cam plate, and linearly moved along the radius of rotation of the hood; a cam profile of the cam plate having an opening fitting groove(9) restricting reverse turn of the hood by inserting the guide pin in inclining to the horizontal surface of the hood, and a return groove(11) moving the guide pin for reverse turn of the hood in increasing the gradient of the hood from the opening fitting groove; and a check door(13) installed in the cam plate to permit unidirectional movement of the guide pin through the return groove.
