PURPOSE: A cylinder embedded roll device is provided which simplifies installation of the roll and extends life cycle of the roll at the same time by embedding cylinder in a roll itself so that the roll is automatically moved in an axial direction. CONSTITUTION: The cylinder embedded roll device comprises bearing housing(a,18) and bearing housing(b,19) respectively fixed to both sides of a frame on which various types of rolls are capable of being installed; spline shaft(a,12) and hollow spline shaft(b,13) which are connected to the bearing housing(18) and the bearing housing(19) respectively, and on the surface of which spline is formed; shell cover(a,15) and shell cover(b,16) inserted into the spline shaft(12) and the spline shaft(13) respectively so that the shell cover(15) and the shell cover(16) are integrally rotated with being engaged with the spline shaft(12) and the spline shaft(13); a hollow roll shell(17) both ends of which are sealingly clamped by the shell cover(15) and the shell cover(16); a spring(14) inserted between an end part of the shell cover(15) and an end part of the spline shaft(12) in the shell cover(15); and a cylinder(11) respectively connected to end parts of the shell cover(15) and the spline shaft(16).
