PURPOSE: A detour route circuit in a network equipment is provided to prevent the loss of data by configuring a detour route switch in a network equipment and detouring and transmitting data when a processor works abnormally. CONSTITUTION: A network equipment is composed of a processor(101), a detour route switch part(102), the first physical layer part(103), and the second physical layer part(104). The processor(101) receives data, transmitted from the second network equipment(106), through the physical layer parts(103,104) and processes the data. The detour route switch part(102), in case that the processor(101) is normal, transmits the processed data to the physical layer parts(103,104) or transmits data, transmitted from the physical layer parts(103,104), to the processor(101) through an MII(Media Independent Interface) interface. In case that the processor(101) is abnormal, the detour route switch part(102) cuts off the data clocks received from the second physical layer part(104), the existence of data flow on a transmission media, and the data clocks being transmitted.
