PURPOSE: A mobile terminal having a call-impossible caller notification function and a call-impossible caller notification method are provided to select a call-impossible situation and to register it in a system database in order to provide a message, stored in the system database, to a caller, when a telephone call is received, and to inform the caller when a telephone call will be possible. CONSTITUTION: If a mobile terminal user inputs a mode selection command in case that he/she is in a call-impossible state(S301), an MSM(Mobile Station Modem) selects a message dependent on the mode selection command(S302). If a call is received(S303), the MSM transmits the selected message(S304).
