CULTIVATION OF INONOTUS OBLIQUUS

PURPOSE: A method of cultivation of Inonotus obliquus by accurately controlling cultivation conditions such as temperature, humidity or the like is provided. It permits mass production of Inonotus obliquus without the need for expensive or sophisticated equipment. CONSTITUTION: Inonotus obliquus stains are inoculated into a culture medium and agitated to produce an Inonotus obliquus stains slurry. The Inonotus obliquus stains slurry is inoculated into a sawdust culture medium in a culture vessel and then cultured for 7 to 12 days at 24 to 25deg.C to produce Inonotus obliquus mycelium. Then, the Inonotus obliquus mycelium is grown under conditions of a temperature of 24 to 25deg.C and a humidity of 65 to 75% while shielding sunlight and recirculating for 20 to 30min every 1 to 2hr in the first stage and then at a temperature of 27 to 28deg.C from two months after the growth has commenced in the second stage. The sawdust culture medium contains 10 to 40% by weight of oak tree sawdust, 10 to 40% by weight of birth sawdust and 10 to 30% by weight of nutrients.
