PURPOSE: An automatic incomplete call connection service method in a communication system is provided to offer a direct call service with a called subscriber by periodically checking the states of calling and called subscribers and automatically connecting the subscribers in case that both are all in an idle state. CONSTITUTION: If a calling subscriber dials the phone number of a called subscriber and makes an origination call request(S31), an operation control processor in the calling-side MSC confirms whether the called subscriber is in a busy state(S32). In case that the called subscriber is busy, the operation control processor confirms whether the calling subscriber is a subscriber registered for an automatic incomplete call connection service(S33). If the calling subscriber is registered for the automatic incomplete call connection service, the operation control processor informs the calling-side MSC that the called subscriber is busy. At the same time, the operation control processor extracts the information of the called-side MSC from a subscriber information DB and delivers it to the calling-side MSC. Also the operation control processor notifies the calling-side MSC that the calling subscriber is registered for the automatic incomplete call connection service. A call control processor in the calling-side MSC transmits a busy tone to the calling subscriber in order to inform the calling subscriber that the called subscriber is busy(S34). Then the call control processor confirms whether a feature code is inputted from the calling subscriber(S35). |
