PURPOSE: A composition for stabilizing zinc coat after galvanization is provided which not only forms superior oxidation resistant film, but also sufficiently reduces hot dip galvanizing process, and a stabilizing method using the composition for zinc coat is provided. CONSTITUTION: The composition comprises 0.1 to 60 wt.% of polymer resin comprising water dispersed polyurethane resin, water dispersed epoxy resin and/or aqueous acryl based copolymer, and photocatalyst comprising titanium oxide, zinc chloride and/or ammonium chloride, wherein the water dispersed polyurethane resin is selected from monomethyl polyethylene glycol, ethyleneglycol, polyoxytetramethylene, polyoxyethylene, polypropylene glycol, monobenzyl polyethylene glycol, monomethyl polyethylene glycol, ¥ø-aminopolyoxyethylene and ¥ø-aminopolyethyleneglycol as oligomer, polymer and large molecule functioning as a self-stabilizer, the water dispersed epoxy resin (epoxy value ranging from 150 to 1000) is selected from diglycidyl ether bisphenol A, bisphenol F, novolac and ortho-cresol novolac, and the aqueous acryl based copolymer is selected from copolymers of acrylic acid, methyl methacrylate, styrene, vinyl acetate, acrylonitrile, acrylamide and methacrylic acid and derivatives thereof.
