PURPOSE: An ophthalmological imaging apparatus for providing a proper exposure image is provided to reduce a setup period and stabilize rapidly a gain by setting up a used gain of an AGC(Automatic Gain Control) unit. CONSTITUTION: An ophthalmologic photographic apparatus includes an electronic image pickup unit, an amplification unit, an amplification mode switching unit, and an amplification rate control unit. The electronic image pickup unit(6) photographs eyes as a target. The amplification unit amplifies signals from the electronic image pickup unit. The amplification mode switching unit switches the amplification unit to a fixed amplification mode or an automatic amplification mode. The amplification rate control unit(40) sets up an amplification rate of the amplification unit. The amplification rate control unit controls the amplification rate at a starting state of the automatic amplification mode related to the fixed amplification rate.
