PURPOSE: An infrared sensor is provided to prevent previously the burglary by forming an active type sensor with two aluminum columns and installing the active type sensor at a particular place. CONSTITUTION: An infrared sensor includes an infrared ray transmitter(10), an infrared ray receiver(20), a controller(30), and an alarm(40). The infrared ray transmitter(10) is installed vertically to a window frame or an inside and an outside of a wall in order to radiate infrared rays. The infrared ray receiver(20) is installed at an opposite position to the infrared ray transmitter in order to receive the radiated infrared rays. The controller(30) decides an invasion state according to a discontinuous state of the infrared rays between the infrared ray transmitter and the infrared ray receiver. The alarm(40) output the alarm sound according to a control signal of the controller(30).
