The stand has a foot, vertical column, one or more horizontal supports and a swiveling support (7) and X-Y-Z adjustment units for balancing in a swiveling support with motor-controlled X.Y.Z adjustment units (6,8,12) which position the microscope body (9) in the room. The motor-driven Z adjustment unit (12) is used for focusing; the motor driven X adjustment unit is positioned above the swivel body, on the microscope body. A calculator for coordinating the X-Y-Z adjustments detects the swivel movements of the microscope body on its own vertical axis or on the column's vertical axis. |
