Method for starting up plant used for oxidizing organic matter in aqueous effluent. A method for starting up a plant used for oxidizing organic matter in aqueous effluent is provided, in which the plant comprises a tube (10), into which effluent is injected at inlet (12) at pressure (P1), equal to at least the critical pressure of the effluent, and consisting of a first zone (16), extending from the inlet; a second zone (18) into which an oxidizing composition is injected, and an outlet (14). A quantity of heat (Q1) is supplied to the first zone, so that liquid passing through is heated from initial temperature to intermediate temperature T1, and then a predetermined amount of combustible mixture (X) is injected, at P1, between the inlet and outlet. At least part of (X) reacts at T1 to generate a quantity of heat (Q2) sufficient to heat the effluent to reaction temperature T2. The oxidizing composition is then injected in the second zone, so that the rest of (X) reacts to generate heat Q3 at the outlet. A part of Q3 is supplied to the outlet to heat the fluid to at least T1. An Independent claim is also included for apparatus for use in the above method. |
