WORK DECK USED AS HEAT RADIATION PLATE UNDER CONVERTER

摘要

PURPOSE: A work deck used as heat radiation plate under converter is provided to secure safety of maintenance workers under converter and shortens repairing time of the converter when performing repairing and maintenance operations of the converter in the steelmaking process of refining molten iron into molten steel. CONSTITUTION: The work deck comprises a pair of plates(1) respectively rotationally installed at heat sinks(101) installed at both sides of a lower part of converter(100); a plurality of hydraulic cylinders(3) comprising pistons(5) which are rotationally installed at converter supporting beam(4) for supporting the converter and rotationally connected to the plates to fold the plates toward the heat sinks and unfold the plates in such a way that edges of the plates are contacted with each other; a solenoid valve for changing the operation state of the piston by changing channel of oil pumped from hydraulic pump and supplied to the hydraulic cylinders; and a plurality of lockers(7) installed on the plates to lock the plates when the plates are unfolded by operation of the hydraulic cylinders.
