The case for compact disc has an outer casing (11) with an inner sliding container (12). The inner slide can have a projection (16) guided in a cut out in the outer casing. The projection can be positioned on the longer edge (18) of the inner slide and the cut out can be in the area of a fold (14) in the outer casing. The projection defines a stop position with the end of the cut out.
