Independent claims are made for: a) a nozzle, particularly a broad slit nozzle, for plastic film production comprising upper and lower parts with lips forming a gap, the upper lip being flexible at the front end and supporting the claimed nozzle gap control element; b) a method for varying the nozzle gap breadth using the control element.
