CYLINDER ASSEMBLY OF HERMETIC COMPRESSOR

PURPOSE: A cylinder assembly of a hermetic compressor is provided to reduce a sound wave by transmission loss of a partition, thereby reducing the volume of a noise generated in operating a compressor. CONSTITUTION: A cylinder block(610) has a cylinder(611) where a reciprocating piston is installed. A cylinder head(620) is combined with the cylinder block for hermetically sealing the cylinder, and has a refrigerant inflow hole(624), and has a first refrigerant discharge chamber(622) and a second refrigerant discharge chamber(623) divided by a partition(621). A valve assembly(625) is interposed between the cylinder block and the cylinder head. The valve assembly controls inflow and outflow of the refrigerant to and out of the cylinder while operated by a difference between a pressure of the cylinder inside and a pressure of the cylinder outside.
