PURPOSE: A liquid crystal module is provided to apply a COG(Chip On Glass) type, thereby capable of obtaining an area margin in a pad unit of a lower substrate. CONSTITUTION: The liquid crystal module is constructed by attaching upper and lower glass substrates(103,101) under the interposition of a liquid crystal layer. The liquid crystal module includes a liquid crystal panel having a gate pad portion and a data pad portion at a side or a lower side edge thereof. In the liquid crystal module, gate actuating drive IC(105a)s and Source actuating drive IC(105b) are mounted to a portion of the lower glass substrate(101) on the gate pad portion and the data pad portion. The liquid crystal module also comprises a gate and a gate source PCB for applying drive signals to the gate and source actuating drive IC(105a,105b)s and an FPC(Flexible Printed Circuit)(107) for electrically connecting between the gate actuating drive IC(105a) and the gate PCB, and the source actuating drive IC(105b) and the source PCB. |
