PURPOSE: A pattern fabricating device and a method therefor are provided to generate color and texture sources from pattern feature points extracted from a pattern of a user and generate a 3D pattern using the generated color and texture sources. CONSTITUTION: If a user photographs a pattern picture(S10), feature points of a pattern are extracted from the photographed pattern picture and a vector-type 3D pattern shape is generated using the extracted feature points(S12). If the feature points are not identical to the pattern picture of the user on the basis of the entire outer line of the pattern extracted from the pattern picture of the user and the points, lines and surfaces of an internal detailed pattern, the user corrects the feature points(S14). Mapping sources are generated using the extracted feature points to be colored by a color selected by the user among industry material classified colors and user real image colors(S16). Mapping sources are generated using the extracted feature points to be texturized by a texture selected by the user among industry material classified textures and user real pattern textures(S18). The mapping data are combined with coordinate data with respect to the feature points extracted from the pattern picture of the user(S20). If the examination of the user is completed(S22), the combined pattern is set up as one object group and is stored as a completion pattern(S24). |
