PURPOSE: An apparatus for detecting water leakage and a status of a water pipe without using an external power source is provided to early find water leakage so as to minimize an economic loss by storing and supplying electric energy generated by a water heel. CONSTITUTION: An apparatus for detecting water leakage and a status of a water pipe without using an external power source is carried out by using a water heel(200), a power source part(300), a water pressure sensor(600), a corrosion sensor(610), a micro computer(400), and a communication part(500). The water heel(200) is installed in a water pipe(100), rotates according to a velocity of a moving fluid, and measures the velocity of the moving fluid. The power source part is connected to the water heel(200), generates and stores electric energy so as to supply electricity stored. The water pressure sensor(600) measures a pressure and a deterioration state of the water pipe(100). Also, the micro computer(400) receives signals measured by the water heel(200) and the water pressure sensor(600) so as to create information matched with management requirements of the water pipe(100).
