PURPOSE: Installation structure of a mounting bracket for an instrument panel is provided to combine the instrument panel with a vehicle body panel easily by matching a vehicle body assembling hole with a bracket assembling hole with inserting a locking pin to an elliptical insertion hole. CONSTITUTION: A mounting bracket(14) combines an instrument panel with a vehicle body panel(20), and comprises a mounting projection fitted to the vehicle body panel and a screw assembling hole. A locking pin(110) is protruded at the side of the mounting projection, and inserted to the vehicle body panel to reinforce fitting of the mounting projection. The vehicle body panel is fitted to a locking groove(110a) formed in the locking pin to prevent movement. An insertion hole(20b) is formed longitudinally in the vehicle body panel, and drooping of the instrument panel is prevented by restricting movement of the mounting bracket with fitting the locking pin to the insertion hole.
