Method, device and plant for decontamination of a polluted material

The decontamination method comprises putting the polluted material (2') in contact with a gas in a cell (4). The material is mixed with a flow of gas and then evacuated from the cell and the gas is extracted from the cell to drive away the pollutant. Independent claims are included for a system and installation for implementing the decontamination procedure.
