PURPOSE: A lower structure of a side of a vehicle is provided to improve the appearance and the quality by shielding the boundary of the side garnish and the outer panel of the side sill with fitting an insertion part of the side garnish to an insertion groove of the outer panel. CONSTITUTION: An inner panel(110) is combined with an outer panel(120) to form the closed section of a side sill(100) in the lower side of a vehicle, and the side sills are installed at both lower sides of the vehicle. A side garnish(200) is fastened to the outside of the outer panel of the side sill, and an insertion part(210) is formed by bending the upper part of the side garnish for the vehicle room. An insertion groove is inserted to the closed section in the upper part of the outer panel of the side sill, and the insertion part is fitted to the insertion groove. The side garnish is fastened to the outside of the outer panel by a bolt and a clip.
