PURPOSE: An apparatus for preventing a power-off state from a poor contact between a terminal and a battery is provided to reduce mounting areas of an additional power source and a switching circuit by maintaining a call-waiting mode after a power-off state. CONSTITUTION: An apparatus for preventing a power-off state from a poor contact between a terminal and a battery includes a first enable signal generation unit(210) and a voltage control unit(220). The first enable signal generation unit(210) receives a power sustain signal and activates an enable signal as a charging signal generated from the power sustain signal after an instantaneous short circuit of a terminal. The voltage control unit(220) receives the electric power from a battery and controls the electric power of the battery according to a state of the terminal after the enable signal is activated.
