摘要 PURPOSE: A system for the manufacture of solid oxide fuel cells(SOFC) and a manufacturing method thereof are provided to produce an electrode and an electrolyte material inexpensively and rapidly, to evaluate the performance of fuel cells and to be helpful to develop novel materials for SOFC. CONSTITUTION: The method for the manufacture and evaluation of electrodes and electrolyte materials for use in solid oxide fuel cells comprises providing a non-sintered or partially-sintered substrate(106); and delivering the electrodes and electrolyte materials(104) to a plurality of regions of the substrate(106) using a plurality of liquid spray devices(110), wherein the liquid spray devices(110) are arranged at appropriate angles to the substrate(106) and to each other such that the spray plumes of the spray devices(110) overlap to form a gradient array(102). The systems suitable for such method includes a plurality of liquid spray devices(110) and a mask(112) operable to control which of the plural regions of the substrate(106) receives components.
